i use 2 layers of that 3m 4011 tape, works great..i had 1 layer at first and had a slight drift..2 layers fixed it

The 3M 4011 tape is a harder foam gray tape. The Parma tape, I believe, is a gel tape. This is 3M 4010 tape.

You are correct. Parma is a gel tape. Thank you for straightening me out. 3m 4010.

If it is the same as 3M 4010, which is the gel version, then it will be excellent. I have a single layer of 4010 on all four of mine, and I just can't fault it. I've said it before, and I'll say it again, anything that needs sticking to my heli will be held down with 4010 from now on. Of course if it isn't the same as the 4010 then this might be a different story.

Cheers

So is the 4010 the same as Align PU Gel, except that the PU is thicker?

GravityJunkie 03-07-2012 04:58 PM

I'm saying the 3M 4010 tape is the same as this:

If you find the 4010 at the hardware store, it's about the same price. But you get almost twice the amount.
