Well - the motor arrived and i have put it in my Helibug 700 already..
Nothing exciting for you to look at as it looks like a normal motor - but i took some snaps anyway as FYI..
Took it to the club today before it rained managed to get 2 x 10min runs of fuel through the engine..
First ever start on it took only about 4 pulls - so that's good.. I set both low and high needles to 1.5 turns but on the 2nd run, a friend advised me to lean out the low a little as it was too rich so went down to 1 3/8..
It's purring nicely but the break in will be about 2 tanks on the ground before hovering with blades - then for quite a few more tanks i'll be heat cycling it - 10min running (no idle up) and 45 min cooling..
after at least 1 gal i may start low idle-up and then after 2 gal i can go for it... don't know if i can wait that long thou - lol...
The way i'm going flight-time wise it may take me 6 months but i'll try running fuel through it as much as i can..
whilst i had the engine out - I thought it was a good chance to fit a new Lynx Gasser clutch I got from rcbits..
