Arrow -->First Real Rebuild<--

well i guess it was gonna happen sooner or later, but it happend after 1 1/2 months of flying my b400 on my 12th flight. i totaled my bird ... yep everything down to the frame. i am able to salvage the esc, rx, gyro???, motor, and 3 servos.

heres what happened, i decided to fly and the wind was blowing pretty good; i got her up about 60 or so ft and she just got away from me i finally was able to bring her down to around 30 ft and 40 yrds out and before i knew it she was upside down heading fro the ground faster thatn i could imagine and the rest was history. i really need to practice more 3d on my sim to be better prepared i guess. anyway here are some pics of what is ahead of me and the parts i am gonna use. i'll post some updates and the finished project if i don't get frustrated . please post any suggestions you guys have on switching out frames as i am going to rebuild the head first.

That's a good one for sure. Don't worry about the rebuild. Alot of us have done it. It's really fun. Just take it apart and make notes or take pics as you go. Do a search on frames or something related to rebuild and there's alot of good info to go on. Make note of the connections on the Rx. If you need help on this Ted has a good pic of it. And don't forget the Bible. Have fun and you'll be back in the air before you know it.

If the frame is only broken in that one place you can probably epoxy it back together and maybe reinforce the area with a thin piece of plastic or aluminum.

JB Weld works really well for things like that.
