Anyone scanned in a TREX-600 manual yet?

I'm very impatiently waiting for my Trex-600 from RCHOVER.COM
ordered May 8th. I was hoping to soothe my anxiety by reading
the TREX-600 manual. Anyone scanned it in yet?

I've googled, trextun'd, and align.com.tw'd to no avail?

Anyone willing to scan theirs?

The images are small. But easier to read than pausing your vids to try to read them. I'm just trying to satisfy my craving to build another heli. Ive called a bunch of places Andy suggested in the attempt to get my hands on a 600. Only in stock store had built it & wanted ... get this... $1900. I laughed.
I guess they had bundled a radio & batteries, plus a charger. I already have everything except the combo kit & batteries.

I'm tempted to become an ALIGN dealer here in VA. and buy a half dozen so I can get one. At the rate they are trickling in through the hobby shops my pre-order will be here in late Aug-Sept. Even though I ordered 1st week of May.

Thank you for all the work you have exerted on your build vids. I have really enjoyed them all

I ordered mine from Joe at tech-mp.com on Sunday. He shipped it yesterday and I should have it tomorrow or Friday.

There was someone on e-bay selling the aluminum kit for $900 the other day. Haven't seen the auction since so it may have been pulled.

I figured as much. Mine just showed up about 15 mins ago.. Over at RR someone mentioned Modefos had some in stock yesterday.

No building last night.. Had to work late and when I got home I was too tired to do anything but make a big Jack 'n Coke and piss away an hour or so here. heheh

If I get motivated tonight, I'll scan the manual and see if Distiller will cooperate and turn it into a .PDF

OK, it's 1:05am and I guess I'm motivated. I'm about 1/2 done scanning the 600 manual (25MB TIF file per page!! Yikes!) and will finish up the rest tomorrow and try to get them converted to PDF for your viewing pleasure..

So, what would be the best way to make 'em available to everyone??

Well, slight delay as I realized I was scanning the pages at 600dpi and as photos, not B/W Text/Line Art which is why they were all 25 meg files.. I'm redoing them properly and am up to page 14. (20 more to go...) Looks like they're about 1.5M each.. Not sure what size the PDF will be.

Would you prefer a single PDF of the entire manual or for each page to be it's own PDF?

I didn't realize this was gonna be so much work.. Between finding an old SCSI card that'd work in my spare computer and getting it to "talk" to my ancient scanner, this has been a weekend long exercise in anger management. The 90+ degree temps aren't making it any more pleasant.. Someone's gonna owe me a cold beer when the smoke clears.

I'll have 'em ready to go in a couple hours..

Ok, just finished scanning this friggin' thing... Made one big PDF out of the whole mess. Scans came out very clean and zooming in makes for nice detailed drawings.

Fin, lemme know how/when you want it uploaded.

I'm off to have a couple cold beers...

It was the least I could do for all I've received from you and the folks here on the freak.

Just a suggestion, but how about putting the link the PDF in your tech forum as a sticky or in the Trex 600 build thread?

If anyone sees any messed up pages, let me know and I'll get 'em fixed. I looked at the file briefly but after 4 hours at the computer/scanner yesterday, I'm sure I didn't look as closely as I could have.
