Default Blade size for 3DX SE 500

Hi Helifreaks need to know if I put a 460 blades on what the pro & con for that size blade

3DX 500
1320 KV MOTOR
4S 4000MAH 25C
75 ESC
94 MAIN GEAR
16 PINION
13T TAIL GEAR
58 TAIL BLADE

I would worry about blade contact with the tail blades during any 3D flight. I run SAB 430's and love em. These would probably load the motor up pretty hard too and cause a lot of amp draw as well. I would stay away from them IMO.

On 4S? Won't happen, you'll hover, about it, anything beyond so would be pushing your electronics to the boiling point.

You'll need to stretch your boom too throw those blades on as well.

I do not think that you will benefit at all from running such a long blade. What kind of flying do you do? If you are a scale guy, maybe, other than that I just I do not see any point in a blade that big on a 500 size heli. If you are searching for stability, tune your radio to give that feel. You will definetley have to upgrade electronics and battery if you are to do any heavy duty flying with those blades. Good luck

Thank for the info, I try the big blades felt good better lifting power (punch) but motor ran hot 195 F ~ 200 F 4:00 min hoving
