10th Annual Rotary Ring Out - Owatonna, MN

The 10th Annual Rotary Ring Out will be held July 30th to August 1st (Friday to Sunday) with free camping and five free raffle tickets for pre-registration (which ends in 10 days, July 25th!).

It is great that Bill Jackson will be coming to our 10th Annual Rotary Ring Out. We are going to have LOTS of raffle prizes so likely you will have a better chance of winning more than you spend, like pilots found in previous years.

We have all of the funds from last year RRO, donations from many manufacturers, including Spectrolutions and HeliPlay R/C as major benefactors to use for prizes.

As far as food goes, we are going way beyond the same old, same old, pork chops from a meat wagon and instead, "Angel in the Kitchen" will be catering the event. See www.angelinthekitchen.net for an idea of what that means.

Don't forget to pre-register for the RRO! That is the only way to get your 5 free raffle tickets. The raffle is going to be exciting with a couple thousand dollars of prizes up for grabs, including a Trex 700N!

We had posted that today would be the last day to register. Since we haven't sent out a lot of reminders, pre-registration will be extended to Wednesday this week.

We just yesterday got a group rate from the Microtel in Owatonna.

Room w/1 queen = $62.99 + tax
Room w 2 queens = $71.99 + tax

One other thing I should note, I mistakenly said you will get 5 $1 raffle tickets for pre-registration. However we will instead sell $5 tickets so you don't have to fill out your name on a huge number of tickets. So you will get one $5 raffle ticket free if you registered by last night.
