Joel, i wish too mate and the boys there are always looking to further someone along and help improve.I've got two great ones on opposite sides of the coin... one will praise every good move, the other will pick on every bad one LOL. It really pays to fly at a club.Been the best investment ever. Great advice and plenty new stuff. Had a 800mm bladed custom framed/etc monster maiden yesterday. Even managed some 3d.. have looksee at my other uploaded vids.
I will have to pull the finger out and get someone to vid me. I build/mod/play/talk cr*p too much but my flying has been suffering coz of all the mucking around. Told myself recently....more flying, less yapping All i did was the youtube upload button,,,, found file and away it went..Takes a litle while after it finishes uploading for youtube to process. All the vids are straight off the camera.Haven't used any sort of editing program to change format etc Vas

Ironically, the very next day I wrote the X5 off, again! This is gonna be the second complete airframe I am going to have to buy. Learning things fast has it's disadvantages to - I crash a lot! ; ( You definitely don't want to learn any of those skills off of me buddy!!! ; ) G iPhone & Tapatalk

I forgot the memory card for my camera, so i strapped my iPhone to the landing gear, in full Otterbox Defender case, just under the battery tray. No vibration isolation unfortunately, but i think it's still a pretty cool vid. Keep in mind that I'm fairly new, and that my phone is being hurled around up there. I don't get too crazy just yet. I hope everyone enjoys it, but it's nothing special....

I got really close to strapping my iPhone to my heli once, really it's not too bad.

Here is a little vid of my hack flying at the same softball field I usually go to at lunch. Bear in mind that I'm a newbie, and have only been flying helis for close to six months, so don't make too much fun.
Sorry the bird is in and out of the frame so much, but the head-mounted camera is actually just my compact HD video camera velcroed to the bill of my hat. I am still working on getting the angle right to keep the bird in the frame the whole time. Anyway, enjoy what you can. I love this bird ![]() ![]()

nice vid H-1. I like that flying area too. also kudos for hanging them low enough to put your iphone on your bird, hehe. I did something similar with my phone and google my tracks app. Used it to track airspeed, elevation, and to make a 3D plot of my flight to import into google earth. it was pretty cool, but also nerve racking. I kept waiting to see my phone ejected from under the heli at high velocity

Thanks. That's a pretty good idea with using Google Earth like that.

Thanks. They're Fusuno. One of the many items I got from our friend Dave at anythingheli.com. Pretty sweet for half the price of ONE stock carbon frame, if you ask me. Still waiting on my fins and green assassin canopy to come in from Vietnam.

Any time homie. I actually got the cajones up to try some half piro flips today too, at a good altitude. I think I had one perfect one out of 15 attempts, but of course nobody shooting video during that flight.
She flew good again today, but I think I need a new swashplate (gettin sloppy) and the Hurri 550 is still doing that weird tail thing.

What packs and pinion are you running?
My bird goes into LVC at about 5 min with 16T and running 4400mah 40c SkyLipos. Of course, that's at 100% TC. I can get more running her at 75%.

I am running 16t 4k turnigy 80% I think but I can check that tonight, I don't need a whole lot of head speed of course as a beginner! With the 5300 spyder pack i only put back 61% after 7m 20s
