Hey all, just wondering if a Phoenix 35 will fit ok on the 250? Just got one and was wondering how well it would fit. I plan on mounting it on the bottom of the frame.
Also, are EC3's too big for a 250? Thank you in advance. Rex |

im sure it can be used without a problem but alittle large on everything including wire size, it will be harder to mount than a 25 setup and harder to arrange the beefier wires, and if im carrying extra weight i would rather have a 25 with a seperate bec so i could drive my servos with alittle more performance .. just the way i look at it ... the connectors should be ok i'd rather have those than deans .. but if thats what you got i would use it, if you have a stock esc i would suggest keeping it and getting a seperate bec and save the 35 for a 450 ...

Wonder if I'll have a problem soldering a 2mm bullet connector on to the motor wires.

Rex save the 35a speedy for a 450 class heli, it will be overkill and super heavy on the little 250. go with something in the 15-25 amp range like a phoenix 25 or jazz mini 15 or 20a speed controller. http://www.readyheli.com/PHOENIX25-C...C_p_35772.html http://www.readyheli.com/Kontronik-M...5_p_37485.html If you want to use efilte connectors go with some ec2's they are a little bigger than jst connectors but the can handle more current.

I got a phoenix 35 for like 35 dollars. I am going to try it on the 250 and see what happens.

Ive got an Exceed 30 on my 250 and its doing great. Mounted it under the skids nice and tidy.
Only a couple grams heavier then the Align stockie and looks great. If your 35 is about the same size youll be fine.

Excellent. I think the CC is 10 grams heavier than the stock align ESC. That's not much. Hopefully it might take some of the twitchiness out of it.
