I remember someone posted an excellent review and comparison of the two. From what I remember it was mentioned that YS has a little more grunt but is harder to tune and more finicky, whereas OS still having plenty of power is easier to get tuned properly. Nevermind that, I'm still struggling with the OS 55 I have Hopefully I will have that light bulb moment one of these days

I have 2 OS 55's and will be switching to YS 56's as soon as possible.

I run CP 30%, don't run the 55's lean, and they both eat rear bearings (same as my old 50's). I have tried 4 different types of bearings and the average amount of flights per set is 100. That is less than 2 months of flying for me on average and I am sick of changing bearings......... The 55 is easy to tune, it does run great, but I hate the rear bearing problem! This may be acceptable to someone who doesn't fly much, but my machines never get a chance to collect much dust

I have a buddy that is just starting out and has a couple of YS 56's, I have flown them and tuned them, and they are top notch units. I have not found them hard to tune at all, and so far no rear bearing issues at all. I am really impressed with the power and reliability!

Just my $0.02....

I love the OS 55 with Funtech B pipe..Flown the OS 55 and YS 56,no difference in power other than the YS hold's it a little better due to the pumped fuel system. Here's my 55 and the power is awesome.Never had bearing issue's or anything with it,just depend's on how you take care of your motor's...

I have the YS56 I have not got it tuned yet but it has been kinda a pain to get started on the first start of the day, like said above. After that it is fine. Someone else has a OS55 and it seems to be fine but I'm not sure about it. I can't really say much on either though since I'm still new to nitro.

But I will be getting the YS60 when it comes out if it isn't to much..
