Batteries - need some advise

So, I need some battery advise on the O550. I think I want to run a 5000mah 6S pack, but I need to know what C rating you guys recommend. Also any advise on a good "budget battery" would be appreciated. I have used Turnigy before on my planks and like them for the money. Keep in mind I am new to heli's and my skill does not extend beyond Hovering and FF as of yet. I hope to get the heli set up today so i can at least stare at it and drool.

I've used a lot of packs (including Turnigy) on my Outrage 550.. but I've settled with these for the long haul. Theres a Gens Ace thread on the main heli chat forum and you will see how many people love these.

US hobby store so free (and fast) shipping.

I have been using the Turnigy 30C and 40C 5000 mah batteries. The 40Cs fit better than the 30C in the battery tray. The 30C crapped out after very little use, the 40C batteries are still doing fine. I am planning on getting a pair of Gens Ace 5300s for next summer to try out.

Ya the chrome batteries have me interested but not till I wipe out my hyperion vx 5000mah 35c batteries and the way they are performing it looks like it is gonna take a long time before these things give up. I have around 75 cycles on each one and they are still improving in IR and have not lost any mah holding and the sustained voltage has actually gained slightly also. You just can't run these below 3.4 volts under load(3.4 is suggested low voltage cutoff on these) Amazing how they are doing. Plus I need the little extra weight of the split pack because my ice 100 is mounted on the rear gyro tray.

30C or higher the ones i was running in my 500 the other day at the field were 30C with 60C burst

Venom has some 50C with 100C bust packs if you want some "pop"
