The 14MZ is an excellent radio. I've got one I paid $2000.00 for. At that price its a no brainer. Get it! You will be happy you did.

I run 2.4 gig. I think the 35 band is for eastern countries. The airplane and heli radios are the same. The only differance is when selecting a new model, not one already in the program, the heli version starts on the heli menue, and the airplane version starts on the airplane menue. Once the desired model is selected and programmed, it will be what boots until you change the model. Mode 1 is right stick for throtle and mode 2 is left stick for throtle. Don't know which one you fly, but that is the most important differance in radio function and has to be sent to Futaba to change it. You may want to see what is out there as far as recievers for 35mHz. That may also influence your decision.

Hi,
You can get am European TM-14 2.4 GHz transmitter module to 14MZ and upgrade the software if neded to latest version and You are up to date. I have a 14MZ myself. 14MZ is regioncoded so You do not buy a TM-14 module coded for another region(area) then Europe since You live in Sweden. Futaba receivers are of course not region coded, just the TM-14 module and transmitter (firmware that can be changed from one region code to another by a Futaba service center - is also possible to change by a user with right software tools but it is not meant to be changed by a user). A new TM-14 module here in Sweden will cost about 1500 SEK. I just changed transmitter battery in my 14MZ since I noticed I got not so long usage anymore. I use two batteries if I want to fly a whole day. I got two new Futaba original batteries for 14MZ last week from HAB here in Sweden. /Bo |

You are lucky you missed it! I have a T14MZ, bought 2006. I will never again buy Futaba even though I love the functionality because they have some of the worst customer service in the world! MiniCars who distribute Futaba in Sweden will never get another cent of my money, ever!!
