Thumbs up Align Trex 450 Pro DFC

Just thought I'd share the video of my 450 Pro with the new DFC rotor head.

Enjoy!

I've been told the upgrade DFC head should be available between 2-3 weeks.

Will it require a revised main shaft also?

Yeah. Hope they learned the design lessons from the other dfc heads they've now admitted were wrong.

Assuming the only benefits of this are for more hardcore manoeuvres?

I actually found this video before this post! So are you flying with the 3GX system or a different flybarless unit? Trying to get things figured out before I get a Trex 450. Maybe I should wait for this head to be available, but does anyone know if they will include the head with any kits?

Exclamation Help!! Ball link on servo arms change??

Hello. i have just start building an pro 450. i was also buying the 3gx system for it. But like other bigger heli, sometimes the ball is placed in another hole when using flybarless. , this is not mentioned any place for the 450 , should i use the standard hole for fl setup as for flybar.
anyway Thanks for any help in here. great forum.

Alan

Does the DFC head have any negative effects with link geometry?

That's the info I was looking for! I told my hobby shop to order the 450 3GX, can't wait to get started on the build sometime next month.
Alan, are you competing this year at XFC? I plan on going for my first time. Saw Burt last week at the Birmingham fun fly and he's done competing, just doing R&D now. But he flew a lot that Saturday which was awesome. Actually there was a lot of great flying that weekend, I learned a lot.

Well we all should know this is a copy of a Compass design. Then you won't be surprised that it stands for-
