I've just looked at the vbar log on my goblin (governor on full size blue vbar pro, Scorpion V 130A ESC, Scorpion 5020-520kV motor), and found that there's a "governor input contains glitches" error every second for the whole duration of the flight.
Is this something I should worry about? Strange that it seems to fly fine. What are the possible reasons for this? I use dedicated RX pack, not the built in BEC, and the sensor wire is not close to RX pack wires at all. I did have to make a 10cm extension to the Scorpion OPTO sensor cable to reach the vbar, would that be an issue? |

Are you running the optocoupler (purchased separately) inline with the phase sensor output of the ESC? It's needed to eliminate glitches in some setups.

Yes I'm running the opto coupler, but did have to make a 10cm extension, as said above.

Have you common ground cable connected? i.e. throttle cable's Ground still connected?
using extension is OK but I heard from other goblin users that they suffered by interference so it depends on where you route it I guess.

Yes common ground is OK. Ground wire is still in the throttle connector. I also checked common ground with Ohm meter between negative rx power input plug and negative ESC power input plug.
Although my sensor wire is away from BEC (unused)/throttle wires, it does have about 5-6cm run next to tail servo + satellite wires. As I'm running HV servo, do you think there might be interference from servo power cable? If that is possible I might try relocate the sensor wires again to be completely away from everything. |
