notebook for software
instead of lugging my macbook pro to the field and putting windows 7 on it i figured id simply by a little acer or something to run nothing but the total g firmware. what would y'all suggest and are there any tablets out there that could run the firmware on them? just looking for something small and compact to setup the first time and any major adjustments since i do have a gview 2.

My son wanted a small laptop so I bought him a 14 inch acer for like $300 and I have the castle software and total g software on it and it works great. Of I was only doing it for Heli stuff I would get the smallest and cheapest.

anyone else know of a good small netbook or tablet thats windows compatible? i may just get parallels for my mac

i use an acer aspire 1 which is only a 10 inch screen and runs windows 7 cost me 200 on ebay has a 5 hour battery life so is fine for the field

thanks rob. i probably should have updated this. i got the view 2 with my unit so idk why i even worried but a buddy hooked me up with windows 7 premium for free so i just stuck that on my mac and will use the gview at the field
