I've just purchased a Meanwell RSP-1000-24 PSU which will give me 24 volts and 40 amps, hence 1000 watts. I have an EP Buddy Paraboard 30amp with EC5 connectors and XH balance taps. I'd now like to buy a Cellpro Powerlab 6.
Is this Paraboard compatible with the PL6? Or do I need a Cellpro Paraboard and/or special connectors (fused?) to enable me to safely parallel charge 2 x 6s 4500mAH lipos? Any opinions on the RSP-1000-24 PSU and PL6 combo? My previous experience has been with mains electric Bantam BC6.

but I really wish I had bought the FMA one with all the self resetting fuses on the balance taps. I shorted the bottom 2 6S taps when I connected a 6S tap unenevely but in the correct hole and it shorted out. also the FMA one is rated at constant 40A where the paraboard states only short periods of time at 40A. Id go with the FMA it will last the life of the charger. I'm sure your power supply will be fine.. I'm using 24v 1800watts 72amps for my setup.. and it loves the juice.specially for high amperage parallel charging.
