425 build congig for comments

Hi again to everybody,

I am really glad for such a good informative forum and such responsive peoples.
So, my bird is already come and waiting for the assembling.
I still did not purchase anything yet because I want to discuss it with you guys first.

Planning config and part list:

Basic kit Gaui Hurricane 425 (in future extend to 550)

Motor: Hyperion HP-HS3026-1210

Gyro: Spartan Quark MEMS AVCS Gyro V2.02 (what is the difference between black, clear and gold edition?)

ESC: Castle Creations Phoenix ICE 75

BEC: Built in 5A

Servo's:
- Cyclic: Hyperion HP-DS20-FMD
- Tail: Hyperion HP-DS20x-GCD + tail servo boom mounting set

Batteries: 2x3Sx2650mah

Transmitter and receiver: Spectrum DX6i combo with receiver AR6200

Blades: wooden for the beginning and for the beginners

Any comments are welcome.

ps I am the beginner in heli fly. I am practicing right now with Blade MCPX and simulator.

Servo mounting plates, for looks and ease of install.
Trex600 landing skids and struts (redrill of holes needed, but easy)
PC connection for ESC?
20T OWB, to be on the safe side. (Some reported problems with the 19T, and i suspect a failure on my Hurri425 also)

Hi p00fman, would you please to tell me what is the failure with the 19T ? I am about to build my first CP gaui and my setup will be pretty much the same as wakeup. What use is the Push rod adjuster?

Yes, I heard about Trex600 landing skids that it is really nice and strong but what about struts?

Yep, looks the same except few things.
Do you know the difference about Spartan Quark modifications: Black, transparent, gold? Only the case?
One more question. As I still did not decided, where (shop) are you planning to purchase whole the listed things?
I thought that the main blades (wooden) are included in the kit, but it is not.
