Well folks I have decided to start tinkering in scale. I have a trex 550 fbl stretched with a 600 tt. I have a scorp Esc fitted and am getting a scorp 12s motor soon
So what advice do people have? |

I would do what you are going to do. Fly a of the shelf model, see if you like it and the feel of a scale fuselage and than progress to a more detailed model. I find it just as fun creating a model as flying it. My 1:6-1:7 AH-6 was my first model I had built and it was easier to build than some other odd scales because of the number of potential parts available in 1/6. So if you decide to build your own creation in the future I would suggest a model in approximately 1:6 scale. Also hanging out here on this forum and Scalehelies.com will be a great help.

Part of the reason I want to do this is cause I love building as much as flying them

Did you buy that Funkey shell in the UK, or are you importing it yourself?
