want to verify a dx6i thing for this newbi

Maybe I am trying to read too many sources at once but I am having trouble figuring out for Sure that a "normal" setting on all the switches is the "zero" .Can you also tell me that the on these toggle switches does the "one" refer to "stunt" or stunt mode ???

In regards to the flight mode switch, "typically" 0 is Normal mode and 1 is Stunt (idle up) mode. But in reality either one can be whatever you want it to be. It all depends on what curves you set for each switch position. So you can have two "Normal" modes, two "Stunt" modes, one of each, neither of each , etc..

In regards to the other switches (except throttle hold), again think of it more as plain old switch positions instead of "modes". The other switches are usually used for dual rates. So for example on your Aile DR switch you could have 100% at position 0 and 80% at position 1. Or vice versa, or any numbers you want to put in spot.

Yes, normally the O is for off and the 1 is for on.
By the way, where at in maryland? My dad is in Cumberland.

Until you are ready for stunt mode, program them both the same in case you bump the switch.

In the manual for the radio and in some of the other guides it refers to a normal setting for a switch . I still guess that means the 0 as opposed to the one . I live in Sykesville , quite a few hours from Cumberland
