Default tail boom mount question/parallel charge question

will this work the same as dylans mounts with a microheli x frame?? http://www.wowhobbies.com/rkhmcpx226...eball-1-1.aspx

(well obviously not as well ) but Wowhobbies is right next to my work...

Also, I just tried my parallel micro deans charger with my hyperion 550s for the first time, and I got first of all a low voltage warning, then I tried a day later and I got a bad connection warning or something like that on my icharger 206b. I was only charging one battery (on a parallel charger made for 5 batteries and w/o a balance adaptor) , do I need to have all 5 plugged in in order to make it work?

Thanks in advance.

No, that is a replacement for the RKH frame whereas Dylan's is a custom piece.

If it's a parallel cable it shouldn't matter how many batteries are attached. You simply add up the capacity of each and charge as 1s. .55A for 1, 1.1A for 2, 1.65A for 3, etc. Now if it is a serial cable all plugs have to be filled even if you have to use a jumper plug and you charge at a single batteries capacity but increase the voltage per attached battery. 1 battery at 3.7v, 2 at 7.4v, 3 at 11.1v, etc.

Was the charger setup for 1s charging? Regardless how many batteries you put in that harness, your charger needs to be configured for 1s. The amps will vary with the amount of batteries charged together.

Yes I set the charger up for 1s charging, and with only one battery attached, I put it on like. .8 amps just to test it out.

These work on the MH frame. I have them on one of my set ups. You just have to file down the bottom of the top portion a little until it fits snuggly.
