They drift. Hovering is making constant and small corrections to correct for this. Congrats on being airborne.

Hi,
Any heli will drift more when it is very close to the ground. Get it up 3 feet or so and check it then. If everything is set up correctly it should need noting more than a click or two of trim. Cheers. |

To elaborate on what has been said, it is normal for your helicopter to drift left because the tail rotor produces leftward thrust to counteract the torque of the main blades.
