Default Motor Mount/gear mesh.

Would it be wise to make slotted holes in the frame for the motor mount to easily set the gear mesh? so you move the whole mount with motor back and forth to set mesh?

Anyone try this?

hi,to mesh the gear, look between the front two servo's and you can just see the pinion and main gear.

Yes I know, but to undo the motor screws you need to take the front servo's out to reach them. So if would like to do a quick pinion change you could leave the servos in and slide the whole motor mount instead of the motor.

I'm sure it would be fine to do on the 450 Pro. The Rave has the slots as standard, and causes no problems.

I don't take my servos out to reach the motor screws.

I have phillips head screws in them, I will change them with allen ones when my new motor arrives. Then it is al lot easier to get them out.

And I am using Towerpro servo;s they are bigger then the 410's or the Hitecs.

Just some fiddling and it will al work out ( I hope )
