Back then I had a logo 500vbar on a hacker and jazz 80 esc setup set at 2300rpm on 550 blades on 25c packs and it was the sweet spot for that heli. I think people today still run 2300rpm on 550blades on the logo500 because it was the optimum setting.
I'm guessing since we are mostly running 520 the rpms prob be around 2500? I got a set of 520 and 553's. Been seeing a couple of post where stock setup can't handle 553's, I wonder what headspeed were they running? So what the optimum headspeed for performance and flight time on this bird? |

I think your 2300 number is perfect. I am flying my governor at 2250 top rpm and to allow some headroom but I am going to bump it up another 50 rpm, which I think will be perfect.

I ran 2400 today at 13 pitch and wow that thing cooks..... But only getting 5:00-5:30 on the batts. I might just try 2300 and with 14. I am running edge 553's so It should have some pop with 14.
