Just obtained a 3G for a 450 Pro. Does the Metal washout base with the control arms just "float" on the shaft or is it in some way connected to the shaft? The directions arent clear, shows that it should be 5.6 mm from the bottom of the head. How does it stay there? doesnt appear to have a set screw.
Thanks |

You need to tighten, and clock it parallel to the grips (looking over the top of the head) the 5.6mm is what the manual says, but make sure the control arms to the swash are perpendicular to washout base and parallel to the main shaft. Parallel to the grips will eliminate any phasing when you do an aileron roll, pyro flip or........ But anyway, yes it has to be tight.
One of the screws tightens it to the main shaft. |
