Default Just ordered a Swift NX...

...so soon I will be a part of the Century club.

I've been looking at getting a 550 or 600 heli for almost 6 months now, since I'm not satisfied with my Trex 500. Now I'll definitely be selling my 500. Previously I was looking at the Swift 620 but decided against getting a 600 size altogether recently since I wanted to do a 6S setup.

Anyway I don't have any questions or concerns yet, just wanted to share this with the Century freaks. I wanted something "different" from an Align for my next heli and now I got it.

Thanks! I'm sure in the near future I'll have a bunch of questions regarding this heli as I figure out what exactly I want to put in it.

My kit should be coming on Friday. Here's what I'm planning for the initial build:

Swift NX ARF kit
Century flybarless metal head
Beast X flybarless unit
Align DS610 cyclic servos
Align DS650 tail servo
Scorpion 4020-1100 motor with 9T pinion
Castle Ice 100 ESC
Western Robotics Hercules BEC
Edge 523MM flybarless CF main blades
Edge 92MM CF tail blades (will these fit with 523s?)
Voltz 6S 2600MAH 35C batteries in parallel for 6S 5200MAH
Spektrum DX7 with AR7000 DSM2 receiver

Since I'm going to run fairly high headspeed (around 2100RPM) I plan on getting the upgraded main gear and triple bearing tail assembly off the bat. My flying style is somewhat aggressive, with alot of tick tocks, hurricanes and funnels, and starting to learn piro flips, and I hope with these upgrades the heli will hold up just fine.

All the equipment looks good, but I would suggest that you first build it stock with the flybar system that it comes with. Then once you become familiar with the heli, then convert it to FBL.

Well my kit came in today. This thing looks cool!

ngin, I can do that since I have a Spartan Quark I can use on this heli and later I can convert it to FBL when I get extra funds over the winter.

I'm also considering getting the Century 600A 1110 over the Scorpion since seeing the RCHR article on this heli.

I am sure you will find the Century 600A/1110 a good choice. Mine has been ran hard now for 100's of flights and has proven a great performer,

Have yet found a need to replace it.
