Default Signs of a failing esc?

I took my 600e Pro up yesterday and about 2 minutes into the flight it started boggin really bad even while just hovering. On pitch pumps it was like the battery was dead. I landed, changed the battery and then tried again. Same issue. It's like the gov was struggling to maintain and of my 3 head speeds.

What can i try to rule out esc? Does this sound like an esc issue?

I can try and get video of it but I am scared to fly it too long. This thing is expensive enough to repair when I break it much less equipment failure

Check the ESC log to see what was going on. It could be something like your one-way bearing slipping also.

check the voltage in your packs before and after a flight w/ a meter to see if they are holding a charge. Are your packs brand new?

Well it turned out to be the gov gain. SOme how it got cranked all the way up. Not sure, probably rolled the mouse while i had the wrong thing active in windows.

I put the Gov gain back and I am good to go.

About a month ago, I rolled the mouse around in my Skookum setup screen - I somehow managed to set the orientation of the Skookum mounting to think it was upside down. When it spooled up, it immediately tried to flip the heli right side up which, as you can imagine was actually upside down. That was exciting!
