1. "My dog ate my Walkera!" 2. Brownout! 3. There goes $30 worth of foam blades..... 4. New Walkera FBL from their dog works labratory... 5. Damn it! Now where am I gonna land??? 6. Hmmm, my controller feels a little sticky. 7. Honey!? Can you come in here for a sec, I gotta favor to ask.... 8. Stand right there while I snap your picture...smile....Whoa! Your dog just walked in as I was pushing the button...hopefully the pic comes out ok.... 9. I've installed an HP08 motor with a hi amp ESC, and a 6s 6000 lipo on this dog. Let's see if he can handle the upgrades.... 10. Wait until you see the Youtube Video! 11. I've increased the gain to 100% on the tail gyro. Hopefully it doesn't wag... 12. I need a volunteer from the crowd....anyone...anyone...helllooo??? 13. A result of too much vibration 14. Excellent, we are now ready to start making the mold for our custom canopy. Step 1 involves a dog, Step 2.... 15. Darn! there goes the CG.

Guess I'm a grease monkey now! These mods are actually helping me save some money and help make the daily commute to school a bit more exhilirating. Still the same o' same o', and must be doable under 5 bucks. I guess, once a modder, always a modder! Doesn't always have to be a heli though.
http://www.austarletclub.com/forums/...howtopic=15977 I have another car mod coming up to improve performance and I'm back to my favorite material - paper Just the things I do atm... Maybe these mods could one day do wonders with Nitro helis! ![]()

For the v8 blades, where/how did you balance them without the tape along the leading edge?
I guessing you left out the tape for the turbulators? |

Hello Mark.
I've been barely able to find time to fly nowdays. but tonight I remembered your vid of the 4G6 w/mods. I watched it "like a fireplace in the family room". There are few heli vids that compare to this. Have a great day! John Quote:

Once I get my residency here in NZ sorted out then I'm back to this hobby pronto, I missed it terribly. Will buy a new 4G6, get the latest and lightest motor and 400mAh Lipos for it(missed the smell of a new heli!). I see there are lots of new guys here. Good luck to all and have a great day to you as well!
