I bought five and have only been flying two because I have lots of the Hyperion 160s, but after maybe ten flights on each of those two I am very pleased to be seeing flight times which significantly exceed those of the Hyperions - about a minute more. I'm not knocking the Hyperions, I've been using them extensively for flying my mSR and they have proved very reliable - something which remains to be seen with the Mini Aviation batteries. But on the evidence so far, these are significantly better batteries. |

I've had the opportunity to fly with a MA 190mAh battery and it was
! Flight time was about 6 minutes. Power was consistent throughout the flight. Further, I also got to try out the MA 2S 210mAh battery: http://www.miniaviation.com/UMX_210.html Even though they are bigger and slightly heavier than the stock Eflite packs, they had amazing power. A significant boost was seen over stock (stock 180mAh battery was brand new).

My miniaviation 190s arrived. They fit snug in the stock skids. Can't do anything with them until replacement blade grips arrive on Monday.
Edit: Blade grips arrived! I get 6+ minutes of flight time. They are super snug and a bit heavier as fac13 pointed out. They do change my COG when inserted fully. The weight difference is noticeable. I got used to it quickly. Last edited by itodd; 01-09-2012 at 10:14 PM.. |

First flights with miniaviation batts.
About 6min30 indoor flight; just turning around and hovering here and there. Outdoor with surely more power used will turn the time down. I'm satsified with my first test, time will tell if they are really great. Just one thing to care about. These batts fit so tightly in the skid, when you try to hardly pull them out, the little plastic cap can pull apart, be cautious!! |

Has anyone else ordered these? I placed my order on Dec 30th and they still aren't here. Talk about the slow boat.

I have a set of 5 of these, bought not least because my other batteries are too old to hack it in the mSR-X. I get about 6 mins 30 sec to LVC on indoor flights, so the timer's on 5 mins. Outdoors, think 4 mins or maybe less, presumably due to the extra servo-work.
One slight reservation, one of the 5 is failing after about 10-15 cycles. I'll be asking to have it replaced since they are relatively expensive batteries. UPDATE: Miniaviation will be replacing my dodgy one, no hesitation. Looks like they care about their reputation.
