Does this qualify? I wouldn't be flying a Trex600esp this close to me in a confined space...

I don't know, but what is that light under the front of the canopy?

Flying a helicopter is no different from riding a bicycle. It's just a lot harder to put baseball cards in the spokes!

Doesn't matter who the pilot is, no pilot is immune from inflight failures.

Well maybe... if he has big hospital bills, he will have less money for food. So, it's not all bad

Didn't read the fine print so I'm not sure what this is all about lol... Doesn't look like a desirable situation.

It's not fair to bring UAV's into this, they are not models..... you wouldn't bring an AMRAAM into a discussion about model rocket safety.....

Must be government funded or something? Sorry didn't realize.

I looked for a video I saw a couple years back with some jolly ol' chaps flying a raptor in the woods with a handgun strapped to it. They were shooting targets and laughing and I was thinking 'yeah right one glitch or malfunction and your day won't be so bright"

Its a company called NRI (Neural Robotics Inc) I don't know if it was government funded research or privately by the company, but I dont think that particular UAV was goverment funded, a lot of defence research is done in house by defence contractors, to either keep developing technology so to keep up with the competition, or in the hopes of attracting contracts off of what they are doing.
