Default Vbar cyclic and collective setup help

Hello all - - glad this forum is here and thanks for all the users to assist others. I have a Trex 600nitro with a full size vbar. All the set up was flawless except the collective and cyclic range. I have excessive ranges for both. 18-20 degrees collective pitch positive and negative at the suggested 80-100% collective setting in the software. To achieve 12-14 degrees collective and 8 degrees cyclic I have to adjust the software to 60-65% - well below the 80-100 recommended range. I have been told to adjust the servo linkage rod placement but my servos have rod horns and do not appear to have another location to reduce the throw. Any advice is appreciated - or if Mr Mel monitors this thread please let me know if the 60% is ok on the pc settings. Thanks!

you need to move your linkages closer to the servo center on the servo control horn.

Default Servo arms

Ok. Thks. My arms are not adjustable. I assume I need to change them out? Unless 60% is ok on vbar

60 is not OK. You'll either have to change out the arms or drill new holes. I'd recommend new arms unless you have a way to do precision drilling.

Experience is something you obtain only after you need it.
I wouldn't mind social media so much if it didn't involve people.
