Question Hirobo Freya a good trade for a done up Align 600NP?

I am a little torn between trading my done up Align 600 nitro pro for a Hirobo Freya. The Freya to be traded comes w/ a bunch of spare everything.
This is his included stuff:

"DS8311 Swash servo's
Futaba S3010 on throttle
GY611 Gyro W/s9254 Servo
Gold Head OS91 (C Spec?) w/muffler
3 extra frame sets
4 canopies (a couple crashed up)
extra gears clutches belts tailhousings fuel tanks hardware etc....

2 gv1 governers

2 tailbooms
extra flybars and paddles

Airframe has new bearings in it. Never flown on. Have not installed servos since torn down for maintenance.
"

My align is as follows:

3- DS610's
JR 8900G
G-Force: flybar and cage assy / strut braces
OS max 50 engine
TT'd tail drive
All metal grey FB'd head
multigov
carbsmart
2oz header tank
align 2 in 1 regulator
spartan ds760 (w/ flash link)
KBDD tails
MAH CF mains
boom brace vibration dampener
1900mah align lipo flight pack
extra temp sensor (from mouser electronics)
spektrum ar7000 w/ sat.
hitec hs5996TG on the throttle (the label got nitro on it and now is gone.)
Extra Align headblock (clone HK metal one on there now...I cant tell the difference except one says Align, and the installed one says HKGT600.)

I'm just looking for a larger than a 600 heli really, but Hirobo seems to be fading out.

I need some input here...like, should I do it? What should I ask the gentleman? Is this brand being fazed out?

Hirobo has been around longer than many of these other manufacturers combined!
MRC support Hirobo and can get anything you want. Right now, with the US government printing money, the dollar has really slid against the Yen and Euro leading to some higher prices.

Because the Chinese manipulate their currency, Chinese goods have not suffered the same jump in prices here in the US.

That said, you can buy an SDX for around $400 which makes it one of the least expensive machines in the 600 class - and it is a superb model.

The Freya is terrific - I've got 3 of them and still enjoy flying them. They are solid, reliable machines. They can do anything you can do and then some and are perfect for learning new tricks because they are stable and locked in. Plus, fully tunable with adjustable paddles, flybars, bell/hiller mixing ratios. Nobody else gives you that capability stock.

Hirobo isn't disappearing - things have just slowed up due to the economy.

Yes, Hirobo has the finest tolerance in there parts. They do not wear down like the others.

Only draw back is the pricing for replacements parts when you crash.

I just picked you 2 used ones from a friend who moved into a smaller house and I help sold most of his stuff.

He had 6 Freya EVO 90's up for sale.

I still have one more of his to sell.

BTW, I can still get parts for my Hirobo Shuttle from the late 1980's. I did shelf it and got a the EVO 50 when I came back into this hobby.

Hirobo is still around. They take forever to release a heli. No such thing as releasing V1.2, V2 etc in the first year or so. They just came out with the 450 LOL. People are just buying CHEAPER and NOT QUALITY. So most of the local shop will stock items that will move faster to make the quick buck.

If I had the extra cash, I would buy

I have the first Quark, and the XRB and love it.

I coughed up for a 2.4Ghz version of the SG, and haven't regretted it for a minute. I fly indoors in a club and everyone stops to watch when that little bird flies, silently, by... But when I tell them how much it cost, they all disappear;-)

By the way, in the Uk and particularly in Germany, Hirobo is quite popular! check out midlands models co.uk or world-of-heli.de

Ciao,
Bob
