I have one.
It's very nice. I use it to charge mainly small packs...up to 3 cell LiPos ...and my lead acid battery. Has built in power supply...rated at 50 W I believe.

Really light duty charger.
What do you plan on charging? |

If I am correct ,the charger is rated at 50 Watts.
The 6 cell batt. Is at 3.8volts/cell therefore 6x3.8= 22.8 nominal battery pack. 50 watts/ 22.8= 2.19 Amperes. Battery is a 5Amp one, therefore 5/ 2.19= less than half the charging rate. It will take some time and is not ideal in for charging 5000mah batteries.

610i DUO? You have been given incorrect information if this is the charger.
It is rated at 180watts/channel. I charge 5000mah batteries at 1C (5amps) on both sides all day long.

After a search it looks like kcordell is right. It is a 180W/channel charger.
Still too small for 6S 5000mAh pack I think. The max you will only be able to charge is 1.4C Doable but pretty weak. |

Isn't the single channel 610i rated at 250W ?? If so, it should be just about capable of 2C for a 5000mah 6S pack.
Is it OK? Yes, it's definitely OK!! If you want to charge multiple 5000mah 6S packs at the same time, then a more powerful charger would be better, BUT it all comes down to the how quickly or how many you need to charge, only you can determine if it meets your needs! |
