I can't seem to fit my ASP 52 to my Aeolus 50. It came with the super combo kit form Hobby-Wing. It seems as though the clutch assembly is to long which makes the engine mount screw holes hang to low not lining up with the Aeolus' frame holes. has anyone had the same problem? What is the solution? Im frustrated

Not Familiar with the ASP 52, but it looks like the spacer (marked in yellow) is too long. Contact Hobby-wing to get the right part or have your local machinist shorten it the appropriate amount.

Yeah man, I sent ahf a message and they rekon the spacer for a prop needs to be removed( the one with a groove for belt start for a prop or something) is that the one you have pointed out or the first spacer? I'll try them both this Arve.

Is that two parts? It looks like one part to me. Let us know how it turns out.

On the engine, there are two spacers, one is iron spacer, the other is aluminium spacer. Take the aluminum spacer out of the engine, the problem will be solved.

Thanks Hobby-Wing and Grok. All is sorted. Went for mainden flight and doign my preflight checks I discovered my wasout arms bolt snapped in the base. Ordered an align. Hopefully stronger bolts. Also my Aeolus washouts bound up every so often.(Dont want that to happen in flight ahhh). I love the Aeolus build though, very nice machine.

You ran out of thread, hmm. Im not sure how. Atleast its on thread now, chuck some loctight on it and it should be fine. Watchout for the nut though. It seems to be a very weak nut. My thread started to go after tightening it a few times. Keep an eye on it man.
