I finally had a chance to maiden my EFL today. No crazy 3D, I am not a 3D flyer but I was just feeling it out. So far the EFL flies nice but I have some tuning to do on my Vbar. My flip and roll rate is a bit slow compared to my ESP which has a lowered head on it but I am sure I can get this head moving just as fast with some tuning. Sorry for the vid, my new camera seems to be out of focus a bit, going to have to play with the manual focus settings and see if I can get it better.....maybe not zoom in as much either.

Nice flying, Steemo. I really enjoy seeing the 500 EFL ala "sport" style. I'm not even close to doing FFFs yet, but I'm progressing little by little.

I do have to pinch myself at times to remember it was not that long ago I never thought I'd be able to do an actual circuit. You will quickly get caught up on perfecting "that next thing" so my advice, enjoy where you are at every now and then. Truth be told I miss the excitement of learning to hover (can say I miss the crashes for no good reason tho

)
It's like a drug, at first a little will give you that fix but once you get used to that you just need more and more AND MORE!!!!!

I'll shut up now.

I am having problem with my AR7200BX 500 tail, the tail will drift whenever i pump pitch....

Try increasing Parameter Menu option D (Tail HeadingLock gain) from red to flashing blue. If that still doesn't help, add some torque precompensation, option F.

I was recently holed up in Hong Kong for a while, and having done all the touristy things many times, I sought out the RC district in Kowloon, I snapped up a super combo for a super price bought a few tools and spent a few evenings building.

I packed it very carefully, brought it home and set up the 3GX and this is it's first gentle "getting to know you maiden flight". I wasnt sure if the 2 Spektrum sat rx's are supposed to blink all the time but they were and there was no dramas in flight, but I'm going to check the manual as I thought they should have turned solid after initiation.

Did my maiden flight with my trex 500 FBL (BeastX) yesterday.

I realy like how the heli fly in the air.

Im a newbie so dont expect anything fanzy, only been flying mcpx and blade 450 since january this year.

Im going to FBL convert my blade 450 asap!

It is a lot different from the video we did in Greenville. We have been trying to work with him on smooth and big maneuvers instead of banging the sticks around. He loves the hobby and I am really lucky to have my family involved.
