I am such a n00b that I want to ask the group here, can you use an old 72 Mhz Futaba 7 channel aircraft radio and reciever to fly an Trex 600e without mixing needs due to an beast x. The real question here is can you program an align 100amp esc without the throttle curve settings that are available in an heli radio?
Thanks to all and what a great community, DS |

No. You will have to buy a radio with programmable throttle curves.

Well you only missed by not having the heli version. That would actually work with a BeastX, since you only need 1 servo-90degree type swashplate.
My old Super7 Heli radio would work with this, but when I re-entered the heli arena, I didn't realize how the FBL setups worked. A normal flybarred heli needs the 120 eccpm, something my old S7 couldn't handle. |
