I have Aerofly 5 (5.7.1.1 update). My setup is JR 9503 > Aerofly interface cable > Aerofly cable adapter > Aerofly USB stick directly connected to a 2010 iMac. When it works I can usually run it at 4x aliasing, high resolution and 60 frames per second.
![]() The problem is that the simulator only boots up properly once every 50 or so attempts. The rest of the time it boots up to the last field I selected all right, but while it says it's loading up a Trex 700E which is my default sim heli, instead a small blue and white high-winged plank shows up on screen, with a dialogue box telling me that the program failed to detect a controller. This usually goes on ad nauseum until I give up trying to re-boot.![]() I have contacted the Ikarus Support Team but a response is slow in coming. I wonder if any of you Aeroflying Freaks can contribute a solution. Thanks in advance. ![]()

The folks at Ikarus suggested re-installing the program. I re-installed the latest update 5.7.1.1 and then removed all the update files from my Aerofly 5 folder in Applications. Since then it has started up twice with no problems. It's been a while since that's been happening. Now to get ready for spring.
