Hi guys,
I've been toying with the idea of enabling pitch boost in the BeastX. Just wondering if anyone likes it, or perhaps whether it will teach me bad habits or make me lazy with the sticks? |

It's on low on my bird.
Just play with it and see if you like it.

Pitch boost is a new parameter in the beastx system that was introduced in version 3. It allows the beastx to increase or boost the pitch commanded to make the collective more responsive. It can help with stops and hard collective reversals. As with most beastx settings you can adjust how much boost is given or just turn it off entirely to suit your feel.
I recommend starting with low and seeing how it effects your collective inputs. I have it off on the x5 and on low on the x7 and e7. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I have a feeling that it accentuates quick collective inputs, but does not effect slow collective changes.

Can you get the same effect by adjusting your pitch curve to be more steep around middle stick. I did this on my 450 pro to achieve the same effect.

Harrow is correct, it will accentuate fast collective movements, but not really change slower ones. Also, cyclic boost does the same. So answer to your question is no, not the same..
