gt5 no luck !

so i been working on this gt5 with the trex 450 pro and no luck what so ever. i cannot seem to get this gyro to work on the helicopter i set the gain to 100 % set each value hovers fine , i try to piro on spot and the heli wants to tip forward i have tried rev and normal in the pirouette setting but nothing it still tends to tip forward . i also got a problem with the head shaking on aileron i tried increasing P value and lowering the value but never seem to go away. any guys out there who can put togeather a good video on setting up this gyo would be much appreciated

I've had to do a lot of experiments to get rid of " stop wobble" , it seems you have to go for wildly different values ( I have 'i' down to single digits) . Don't have a. Piro problem. Would be interesting to watch it on the bench.

thanks for reply. I see I think I will have to keep playing with it over and over until its right. yes with the piro I don't understand why it does it. if i get the chance i will try and get a video to show what's going on. with the wobble it doesn't seem to be there all the time fly round fine and when i do a tail slide you can hear the head wobble on its way down i would then come back to a hover and sometimes it will wobble slightly for couple of seconds then disappear

yes sounds like what i call 'stop wobble'. See some threads below, i found i had to reduce the max throttle to 73% , that 'fixed it' then it came back and i ran '''i '' down to < 10 . Then i raised the throttle back up to +75 ,wobble came back. It seems to fly well no matter what ,,so,,

hmm thanks for your help. it sure is a hard gyro to set-up correctly , i like to run 100% flat curve to get the most power out of the 450 but gyro doesn't seem to like high head speed, i can fly the heli in normal mode with not a problem fly perfect but when in 100 % for 3D it just don't cut it

check the threads here, there's lots about tuning it for 3D , swalko runs a TDR, says it flys like the devil, & theres a video of a 450 flying hard , Don't give up !
