hi,
started my 600 up for the first time in ages yesterday . what i found was that as soon as the glow ignitor went out (align 3 in 1 ) the engine cut . it coudnt run under its own steam. i adjusted needle etc with the same outcome, my thoughts are pointing to the fuel which may be quite old (poss 18months) my other thought was the plug but i seem to change them alot..... im changing both anyway , just wondering what other people thought? cheers mw |

I would think the mixture its to rich and/or glow plug is to cold our worn. I have used old fuel, car fuel, 15%20%&30% as long as the cap was right its still good.

After that long sitting, I would for sure change the plug. If the fuel was opened prior to sitting that long, I wouldn't have used it.

The engine is probably just cold, which happens to me quite a bit. Raise your throttle position a little and check it again after the engine gets a chance to run for a little bit. Should idle much easier.

Change the plug ..... If that doesnt work then make sure the needles are still in good shape and are not to rich. Makes sure they are really closing and are not stuck open. Thats about all the problem can really be.. good luck

I have never had fuel go bad as long as it is closed. I would change the plug and make sure your not running to lean. Your last flight could of been lean causing the plug to foul prematurally. If you are changing them often more than likely that is the cause
