Default Where do you adjust flip and roll rates?

I often see it recommended that you in Phoenix adjust the flip and roll "rates", and maybe yaw "rates", to make the heli respond more like the one you fly in real life.

Where exactly under the "model/edit, detailed" do you do these adjustments?

Thanks! ;-)

You might start by cranking up the "agility", which should make the heli quicker. Also under tail rotor I believe it is, you can specify a rotation rate in degrees per second.

Hopefully that will help you a little. I'm not at my computer right now so I can't check the sim to tell you for certain what other things you can do. Good luck!

Okay, just took a look at the menus. The "agility" parameter is if you've chosen the FBL head option. If not, you can adjust the slider for "model setup", and/or adjust the slider for "cyclic tuning".

Either of those methods should speed things up for you. And what I previously described as "rotation" rate is listed as Pirouette instead.

Hope this helps.

Apparantly you can also tweak flip and roll rates under the flybar options:

Strangely i have found I needed to turn the values up a bit, to make the model behave more like in real life. I have also lowered the pitch and roll inertia values, which I think makes the model respond more realistic ;-)
