I recently had to replace an intermittent main motor on my mSRX. I used a hobby knife to cut off the white, smooth blob of rubber stuff HH used on the connector. For the motor, I had to cut away the black melted rubber they used to hold it in place.
Once that was done, it was pretty straight-forward to slip the motor out and a new one in and plug in the wire. But I can't figure out what to use to seal the connector so it doesn't come loose in flight - same with the motor. I tried basic clear Dap silicone caulk - just a dab. But no joy. I went to pull on the connector this morning and it came apart easily. See the attached image. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I use automotive rtv on the plugs, It doesn't really have to have a super strong hold, you just want it to keep the plug from vibrating out.

The white and black stuff is probably electronic RTV. The RTV typically found in the hardware stores should not normally be used around PC boards, etc. because it has an ammonia solvent in it and tends to be corrosive.

As an addendum to my previous reply, I remember when I was watching the repair CD that came with my msrx that the guy demonstrating how to reassemble the heli had a bottle of elmers while glue he used to glue in the motor. Just a dab. I haven't watched that CD for awhile, but I am fairly sure that was what was used.

Elmers white glue, Household Amazing GOOP, and shoe goo are all good. I use household Goop . It's got a killer strong hold like gorilla glue but will peel off in one piece with a little convincing. The key is to get it on the plug VERY fast out of the bottle. It looses it's "tack" almost immediately.

If the automotive RTV you used smells like ammonia when you sniff the tube then thats what is in it. That's not necessarily fatal however, the heli parts are out in the open and get ventilation and most of the ammonia evaporates away. Its just that there is the chance of corrosion. Its just something to be aware of.

I use Elmer's Glue. It doesn't grip as well as the original stuff that is on there but it keeps things in place and is easy to remove.

I'm going to either pick up an electronic RTV or just use Elmers Glue or Goop and call it a day.
