Yes the wires are connected correctly. The battery voltage is good. But I will follow up on other ideas and let the group know the outcome.

I think you'd need a voltage meter.

I was thinking disconnect the motor and attach probles to ground and positive output from esc and measure the output but since bl's are 3 wire it might not be that simple. You should at least see some output from the esc and it should change as you increase/decrease the throttle.

I will see if I can borrow voltage meter from someone and also learn how to use and interpret the readings. I think it might not be that complicated but still good to get advice.

I almost bought another motor today as I was thinking about this thread. The stock with its pressed on pinion doesn't inspire long term confidence with me. Any luck with getting readings from the esc?

Stupid me. After spending money on new ESC and new motor it turned out that I was putting the connector from the ESC in the wrong slot of receiver. Interestingly when you put it in the slot that says 5V all the rest of the servos work it is just the motor that does not get power.
How stupid of me. Thanks guys anyway. I did learn stuff though, through this thread.

Good you got it together. Sometimes its the simple thing we overlook hahaha. Yup it goes in throttle plug my manual sits right next to the computer. Next time check Manual it show how everything goes. Hay miracle-mart has stock blades in stock for $14. Mine has a little left drift on take off but no big deal I'm used to it now don't want to mess with a great flying heli. Have fun Vronny
