I apologize for the delayed response. I reviewed the order again with a supervisor and we see here that you did contact us regarding a refund but for some reason one was never processed, which is why you then filed the charge back. Looks like they banned me from ordering as well, but I wish I had known that sooner, now looks like I have over $400 tied up in Paypal until mid May due to Hobbypartz not canceling the pending PayPal authorizations.... they have no issues canceling the orders themselves, yet cant cancel the PayPal auths as well? Pfft.

All I did was a PayPal dispute months ago to get my money back from an RMA that they sat on for over a week after receiving it, no chargebacks filed here. They refunded my money and I closed the dispute. See my previous thread here: http://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=385897
As you can see I wanted *REPLACEMENTS*, not a refund....

Horrible customer service, if HeliDirect or someone just as reputable carried Gens Ace I'd be all over them in seconds....

I sent another order in hopes it was a mistake but it doesn't seem to be.

yhst-62196343123315-273814 is canceled.
yhst-62196343123315-274402 will be within time I'm sure.

I don't personally see a reason for getting banned, as I have 4 other identical Gens Ace packs here that work without issue and they have those orders on record... so why all the trouble with 2 batteries that were DOA straight out of the packaging?

EDIT: Now that I remember, no, I did NOT file a PayPal dispute at all. I just posted in here first in my other thread and then they simply refunded me....
Anyhow I would LOVE to see the reasoning behind this one....
Either way I see the OP of this thread posted in my other thread, and he seems to be right about getting blacklisted....

I seriously wonder how much HobbyPartz/XHeli gives Ace Pow just to be their sole distributor, I can imagine Ace Pow would sell a lot more packs dealing with LHS's and other big online retailers directly....

Hello spikestabber,

According to the records on order 1465212, you were issued an RMA because you filed a paypal complaint. The RMA was issued on January 3rd. There are no indications that you had contacted us at anytime before the RMA was issued. We received the returning batteries at the end of January. Because the paypal order was too old, we had to manually refund the amount to your account so that was processed February 17th.

Thank you for refreshing my memory. I believe I tried twice (definitely more than once) to contact you guys to get an RMA.... (which by the way is extremely difficult to do as all attempts to contact went unreplied)

The PayPal dispute finally got you guys to issue an RMA....

I'm not the type person to suddenly issue PayPal disputes out of nowhere without attempting to contact the seller first to resolve any problems....

Regardless, a PayPal dispute is NOT a chargeback, the dispute was resolved was it not? Nobody attempted to screw anyone out of any money, I simply wanted an RMA and REPLACEMENT packs and time was running out to return the DOA packs I already had, if it were later you guys would probably say I waited too long to RMA.

Anyhow, that said, is there any further reason to cancel all my orders? I see my second order was canceled within the last 2 hours. Nice. If you guys could reinstate ONE of these orders I posted above, then I would be happy, rather than have $420 tied up till mid May in PayPal due to pending authorizations to you.

I see no reason to not call this case closed and allow me to buy stuff again.

Edit: Yup, emails indicate I filed a Dispute containing a refund request on December 30th.... refund request was denied and RMA was *finally* issued. Thats a good 12 days after my initial post above and probably a good 25 or 30 days after first attempting to use your support tickets and emails...

Each pack in the order that was received has a dead LiPo cell. I know my equipment is fine because I have 4 other identical battery packs that I previously purchased from your store that work correctly.


Why is it so much trouble to get replacement packs sent to me or to even get any customer service out of your company at all?
Either send me some new packs or refund the money. (i'd like new packs if possible)
I can send pictures showing what my charging equipment and digital multimeter is reporting if its necessary.
I spend thousands on this hobby every year so I'm not out to rip anyone off by any means.

See it bugs me when I perfectly describe my reasons for filing the dispute inside the dispute itself, politely asked for an RMA inside the dispute, yet you guys banned me from further orders? What kind of customer service is that?

Its looking that way yes, but I'll wait for a reply from them. Afterall they are holding over $400 of my money in PayPal right now anyhow...

Basically their extremely slow support during Christmas rush is my fault.

Ironically I filed the PayPal dispute mere hours before they replied to my other forum post on December 30th.... one has to wonder if it was just a coincidence or not....

Huh? How the heck do you "remove" a closed dispute? The dispute was not escalated any further... which is why its closed, heck it wasn't even reviewed by PayPal....

I'm not sure what you're trying to tell me here, but I'm going to take the hint.

Seriously its getting stupid now, and by unsuspending my account, I assume that means having to place new orders, and have yet more funds held hostage by PayPal for 2 weeks thats waiting to be sent to your company for an order that might get cancelled again?

Meh I give up.

So I did end up getting a new pair of batteries after all, thanks to friends.

Worth the hassle as Gens Ace packs are amazing.

Apparently you are not allowed to ask about orders...ordered batteries 3/28 (showed in stock)...got email saying they werent and would be 3 to 4 wks...they would ship automaticly unless I changed or cancelled order...so last wk I check my order..still on hold...email them today and ask when they will ship....get a quick response saying my order is cancelled...and now my order info reflects this...what a joke...so just waited a month for nothing
