Caliber 30

I have a guy that approached me to buy his caliber 30. He has had it for 5 yrs he said and it is still in the box never put together. It is all plastic and has the futabe fm trasmiter. I do not know really anything about this heli so would like to know
How they fly?
Are there still alot of parts available?
Are there upgrade?
What it is worth?

They fly very well. They have a very different belt drive system that makes them smooth.
There are parts available but you will have to hunt for them
The stock canopy is widely regarded as one of the most ugly. I have a TREX 700 canopy and the FL upgrade canopy for mine
Many parts are interchangeable with other newer calibers
There are upgrades. Mine has an extended tail boom and a .50 engine but they are no longer available commercially.
I wouldnt pay more than 200 for one

Kyosho FU@KED alot of people by discontinuing their line of helis and parts support, I will never in this lifetime, ever buy anything Kyosho ever again!......

they are a nice heli. Well made BUT parts are becoming hard to come by....truth be told I wouldnt recommend buying one.
