converting my novus..?

I read through MOST of the conversion thread but it seemed old to me.and confusing. lol. What do I need to make my 125cp work with my devo 8s. I know a new devo rx first of all. What else?
IDK if it remains FB or not. Cheapest route. I just can't stand the helimax TX without 5 point curves and what not.. I would, and am thinking of just getting a 2801 pro ver 2.3 however I don't want more TX's.. Any one do this?
