So, When I first built my naza I had the front and back confused when setting up and it flipped on takeoff and broke 1 10'' prop. After that I put the 8'' props on it and flew it like that every since, I then added a camera mount and gopro, still 8'' props and 3s. Flew great and was stable. I recently got 10'' props for it again and it now seems so unstable. I have tried low gains, mid gains, high gains, etc. I have finally got it to hover somewhat stable but i tried forward flight and when i stopped after/during a turn one arm of the quad dipped very low and almost flipped the quad over...is this a gain issue?

Was a motor issue or an esc issue, I havent tested to confirm which but today it was hovering about 5 feet indoors and all the sudden one engine quit and it flipped and hit the ground, didnt break any props but when i went to start it up again 1 motor would not start even if i spun it by hand.

Sounds like you have trashed a motor. You can test by swapping the motor over to different esc and see if it works. If not, it is the motor, if it does, then it is the esc. What is you AUW after you added the gimbal, landing gear and GoPro?

Ya, I am gonna swap the motor to one of the other esc and see if it works to verify esc or motor problem. Not sure what the weight was but I since sold the gimbal and just hard mounted the gopro to the quad with the sticky mount.

I have not used 8" props on my F450 or 4S lipos. I used to use 10" DJI props and 3S and now I use 10" Graupners with 2650mAh 3S. I have my F450 set up as a FPV machine with a dedicated camera and EagleTree OSD Pro with eLogger and GPS. My weight is not that high.

Ya, Im selling this 450 to get the 550 wookong m or maybe a 650 wookong m. I may get the 330 as well though to play around with. It seems like it may be more acrobatic.

I have the stock flamewheel 450 setup with FPV and gopro and fly it with 8inch props on 3S no worries.

The 450's great on a 4s/2200 and the 330 tops out with a Pulse 65C 3S/2200 4s is way too much for the 330 (the blades cavitate) but a blast on the 450... We fly them at night only (LED's) and the 330 gets really small really quick out around 150 - 200'.. Extremely fast though... flips and rolls like a ball. Eventually I'll do a FPV setup but for now I'm enjoying the rip... ![]()

I have done a bit of a rebuild in the last couple of days and have used some bigger slower motors than what I was using and now running 9 inch props rather than the 8 inch I was running before, have only done basic testing in the back yard but very stable with these Gemfan 9x4.7 props on 3S, gave 9 minutes of mostly hovering.

I have a few quads. I run 8" props on most with good luck. One quad I run 9". I ordered a whole bunch of 10" props, and tried those on my gaui 500 and my Witespy. I ran into the same issues you are having with the gaui. I tried messing with the gyro, reprogramming esc etc, with no luck. I immediately went back to 8" & 9".
