For best performance where should I set the delay in combinaiton with the Futaba 2650 Servo?

gy401 input voltage
Im a newbie, just buiolt my first align 450 v3 clone.....everything is stable and solid until i accelerate the blade rotation....i get slight counter-rotation to the left....im in the process o f upgrading my tail servo and gyro and i want a gy401 eventually, but everyone talks of a 4.8v regulator for it.....do i need this regulator, or could i just run the gyro straight off the reciever
