Hobbywing 120A-HV-PRO Help Wires to short

I just received my hobbywing 120HV pro and the wires coming off the unit are very short.

The motor side wires are 4 inches. The battery side wires are 6 inches.

In order to reach my motor I'm going to have to add about 4 inches to the three motor wires.

In order to reach my battery I’m going to have to add about 6 inches to the two battery wires.

How will it affect the unit? I’ll be running a 12S system on a 600 size helicopter.
