I am talking about the logo 400 motor plate (MIK4170). When it came brand new the bearing didn't spin quite as nicely as the top one but it was good enough. Now, when I go mod .7 and I disassembled the heli I noticed there is a spot where it does not spin but more like jams over it. It is still flyable but I am thinking it is best to replace it.
Now, Mikado does not specify what type of bearing it is but I am pretty sure it is MIK1329 (10x19x5). Question is, did anyone already tried to replace that bearing and how did it go ? Is it glued with some loctite ? Does it go out freely ? I am thinking to put the plate on a flat surface and use some larger diameter shaft to force it to go out. One thing is, I don't want to bent the plate or somehow make it unusable because it is expensive and the bearing is still flyable anyway. I could leave it and try to find some bearing removal tool in the mean time. |
