I would think it does not matter what the pitch is for a multi rotor, as it cannot be changed in flight. I have read a couple of threads, where people have set different pitches that are controlled by the mix switch (idle, idle up, idle 2). This causes me to think that setting a different pitch may make the multi rotor perform differently.
I have mine set at 50% across the board. So should I have a different setting for say manual vs attitude or some other parameter, or does it matter?

As you said, typical multirotors use fixed pitch propellors, so what would changing the pitch in your radio do for you?
Maybe a link to some of these threads you have read may provide a clue as to what the confusion is.

Some people, set their multirotor as an airplane in the Tx. So there is no pitch.
If you set it as a heli, you set your Tx as it is a FP heli, no pitch. |
