Default The Difference?..........

I just recieved a used SR from a friend, he didnt nasty crash it,but got frustrated with it quickly. As I removed it from the box, tore it down to reset it up, I noticed differences from my original one. This one was setup better from the factory as far as servos/swash plate leveled and centered, but blade pitch at center stick was WAY off from side to side.I added two shims per side to dampners to stiffen head, then all I had to do was fine tune pitch with pitch links per Nbells posts. Havent flown it yet, but am stoked about the possibilities!!

Just wondered had anyone else had multiple Sr,s obviously set up different out of the box?

Only have the one, but I would think these helis are being setup according to a flip chart. Complete A, then go on to B. Lot of room for short cuts. Especially on an assembly line.

Yep, and this ones wiring is also zip tied in a different configuration as well, so Im sure different shifts, different people, with different preferences, and different test flyers, that do,and dont send heli back with quality control issues, but just package and ship, lol. Hence the need to tear down and rebuild outta the box. I have learned an important lesson for future heli buying, and flying!
